As stated in prior blog posts, Attorneys Donald D. Vanarelli, Esq. Chen Li, Esq. and Matthew J. Nolfo, Esq. presented a live webinar earlier this year entitled “Protecting Your Assets from Catastrophic Nursing Home Costs in New York and New Jersey.”

The webinar explains how to utilize Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, Veterans Benefits, and Long-Term Care Insurance to protect assets from catastrophic long-term care expenses and nursing home costs in New Jersey and New York. By contrasting the two states, we showed the differences between need-based programs in the two states, including home care services, so attendees could learn about and compare asset protection options in the neighboring states.

We recorded the webinar. The first 5 parts were posted earlier on this blog. Part 6 of the webinar is attached below. Part 6 focuses on Medicaid and the rules governing similar needs-based assistance programs available in New York. Additional videos will be published in upcoming blog posts and on our YouTube channel – Vanarelli & Li, LLC on YouTube
